When it comes to a brain illness, it seems like no one can figure out what makes a brain more healthy.

It is absolutely OK for you to take care of your own self. If you have doubts, definitely call a professional. However, you can always do your own research and start creating health in your own self.
It is OK for you to treat your mental health with equal importance as you treat your physical health, because mental health IS physical health.
