Ok, so this is like the kid who has to explain to the parent why they made the choice they did… and here goes:
I am exhaused. I have two loads of laundry that need to be folded. I need to go to bed. I have cookies to be baked, or tomorrow’s supper to get started on. I need to go to bed. I have two posts that are three fourths of the way done, sitting in the hopper on this blog. I need to go to bed. I am one percent caught up to date on all my Facebook friends feed, because I took FB off my phone, so I could focus more on my kids. I need to go to bed. But before I can go to bed, I need to show you this:
This kid is amazing. She joined swim team this week. She had practice three nights, and went to school every day. She asked for pain medicine and used a pillow and an ice pack. She managed to have ZERO red days and only ONE yellow day. Trust me when I say, she is amazing. But the things she does is not what’s amazing. It’s who she is. She’s curious, she’s excited, she’s willing, she’s loving, she’s inquisitive, she’s proactive, she’s kind, she’s funny, she’s challenging, and she is alive here on this earth! In this picture, she’s studying music (yes, on a Friday night) from Khan Academy. Why? Because she wants to!
Okay, I need to go to bed.
Goodnight.
