I was driving home from an errand this week, and this song came on the radio. A song I’ve herd often but never paid much attention to. Until today. And then I started thinking about that Walkman I made him throw away. How I felt that it was such a silly thing to keep around, when cassette tapes are obsolete. At that moment, when I was driving home to him, I felt lucky that he holds on. To the the things he believes in. To his faith, my love, our freedom.
