So i missed two Not Me Mondays, Ten Things Tuesdays, Wordless Wednesdays, Thankful Thursdays and Whatever Fridays. Just because i didn’t make it to the computer to type it out, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen…

First, let’s go backwards to our family get-together.
What kind of family has a party in a shed, you ask?
Well, mine for starters! Thanks Aunt Jean & Uncle Bill!

After the party (which used to be the family Christmas, but now it’s at the end of January, and Santa can’t come then, so it’s just a get-together…), we spent the week just plugging along. The next weekend, we celebrated JJ’s birthday at the Pizza Ranch (sorry, left my camera at home – shame, shame!) and Nanny and Pops came out to visit. Saturday brought shopping and lunch, then dinner at Grammy and Grampy’s house. Yummy roast beef dinner. Again, sorry no camera = no pics! Sunday was our usual day of rest, and Monday, brought a new view!

During the shoot, it was just too breathtaking, and a little scary. These Eagles are HUGE, and one was flying right towards me a couple of times! We all know how well our family likes flying creatures coming head on at us!!!

There were FOUR out in the cornfield south of the house yesterday!

So this is where my update ends, and i tell you all how very sad i am that i didn’t participate in MckMama’s contest, and win the Rebel, because if i had, ALL my photos would be so much
better! But it’s also where i tell you that one day, i will have the appropriate camera, and i will take great pictures and i will post them to my blog. Perhaps then i will also have more to say about them!
