Beef and the guys spent the weekend hunting. i got to go shopping with my sister, Aunt Bee on Saturday, but we ran out of time. A1 spent the day with Nanny and Pops, who got lots of laughs and a few scares (from her cough) out of her. She LOVES their jumper, which has a tray on it, and in my opinion, this is safer. Of course, because it made her so happy, they sent it home with us! Uncle and Little C spent the night Saturday night, and the guys were up and at it early Sunday as well. They shot two doe, and Beef got to come home early, so he could get rested up for work. i didn’t get a lot done around the house, because i went shopping with my sis. This morning, we headed out to take our deer down to the meat processing plant to be butchered. The sprinkling started just as we headed out, so we decided to take the gravel down south. It was a nice scenic route, and Biscuit was good the entire way. After dropping off the deer, we headed back home, and stopped at the grocery store for some “must haves” in case we were snowed in.
Maniac Monday
The rain tapered off, and it didn’t end up snowing at all. In fact, it stayed pretty warm.
A1 rolled over for her daddy today. i was working, and Beef thought he would get down on the floor and play with her. He held her hand and she pulled against him, and when he let go, she started using her little legs to get the rest of the way over.
Another thing she has started doing is sticking her tongue out. Now, i don’t just mean sticking it out and quickly putting it back in. She slides it all over, touches it, and spit goes everywhere. It is chapping her poor little lips, cheeks and even her eyes, and is also giving her eczema. Boo Hiss. So, we’re trying the doctor’s recommendation with a remedy, which doesn’t seem to be working. But i’m hoping the tongue thing is a phase. It is cute to us, but it probably isn’t to the public at large, PLUS, i don’t want people wondering what’s wrong wit her face. She has always had such a pretty complexion.
