However, Florida Big City Life, today will be over in 25 minutes, and i will go to sleep, knowing that tomorrow, even though don’t get to have all the things listed above, i do get:

  • quiet, country mornings
  • home-cooked meals (that i don’t have to cook – thanks moms & grandmas & aunts!)
  • to know my baby is going to have a good education
  • a low-traffic road
  • snow
  • cows
  • almost every store selling farm supplies
  • quiet, open fields and sky as far as the eye can see, not blocked by buildings
  • moonlit nights that are almost as bright as morning
  • if the fridge is full, i can leave the pop (translate “Soda”) on the deck to stay cool
  • warmth from a wood burning stove, and the sweet smell
  • a basement
  • ice sickles
  • four seasons
  • surrounded by wildlife (which can be scary at times, yes)
  • nature in my own front yard
