Today was quite a busy day! Starting off with early wake up, then a big farm breakfast with daddy, A1 was quite happy. Beef took off to go and check the card on his trail timer (a camera that takes pictures of {hopefully} big deer that come around his hunting site), and take care of some errands. While he was gone, we got a visit from Aunt Bug, who loves to entertain A1, who loves to be entertained and sometimes tries to out-do Aunt Bug in talking!
After daddy came home and Bug left for College, the three of us took a car ride to reminisce some of our youth hunting and fishing and farm memories south of town, and waste time waiting for the appointment to get my staples removed.
Once i was free of “hardware”, we came home for a nap, and then it was time to go to the White Tails Unlimited banquet. YAY! Beef & i sure enjoyed ourselves with our family and friends, and watching people bid HUGE amounts of money on the auction! We came home with a new cammo “diaper bag” from Grampy and a nice Terry Redlin lodge painting as well as a sweet Hunter Safety Orange White Tails Unlimited cap, for participating in a gun drawing. While we didn’t win the gun, we had a nice time, and knew A1 was safe and happy at home with her cousins (The B… Bunch), and “Aunt” Pennie! A1 was barely asleep when we got home, which i can TOTALLY understand… “Aunt” Pennie and i used to spend a LOT of time getting in trouble together when spending the night at each other’s houses as kids. Her parents used to ask us the dreaded question, “Do we have to separate you two?” after we’d talked an hour after being sent to bed! Another reason i love being home! YAY FRIDAYS!!!
