We’re probably in the minority on this, but we’re just not big celebrators of this day. So, it wasn’t shocking to us when we decided that A1 would not be Trick or Treating this year. However, one of the newest things we’ve found about living back here is that what we want isn’t always what we get! A1’s Aunt Bug (my baby sister) defied our wishes and went out and bought A1 a costume anyway! So, of course, we couldn’t let it go to waste. We only went to the grandparents and my two sisters’ houses, because A1 wasn’t really into it. She was quite fussy, wanted her bath and bedtime bottle and rocking, and to go to bed. She was good when we arrived at their homes, but in the car, she went from butterfly to grouch! Having said that, she was a cute butterfly, and from what we’re told, this will probably be the easiest one ever, because she will be really fussy, chew her costume or tear it up, or worse… hmmmnn… i doubt that… A1 will be perfectly behaved – just like her mommy and daddy always were! (laughter here)
