Luke and Emily enjoyed their presents and all the family that came to wish them well today. They were happy and laughed most of the time. It’s so hard to believe it’s already been a year!
On the way to the party, A1 was in her car seat and just cooing and “talking” to her frog toy that hangs from the handlebar of the car seat. She was really going at it! i turned to Beef and asked him if it didn’t just about make his heart explode to hear her. He agreed that it was hard to believe and brings him joy also to hear his daughter “talking” in the car.
One year ago today, we went in to begin our last attempt at pregnancy. One year ago today we sat in an office overlooking the St. John’sriver and waited for the doctor to come in and give us our instructions and medication. One year ago today, we had no earthly idea or clue that we would be driving down the road to a birthday party with our very own baby in the car. It amazes me every day that this is really happening to us. i don’t take for granted any moment i have with our Little Biscuit, because just 12 short months ago, we were being told that there was a less than 5 percent chance that we would ever have a baby. Ooooohhhh the joy! i remember one year ago, as we drove up to that doctor’s office, calling my sister, who was on her way to give birth to her miracle twins. It was one of our last few conversations where we were on two different paths. Now we’re both mommies, celebrating the lives of our very precious children!
God is so good to us!
