i am working from home now, which is a new challenge for me. Since I’m pretty social, and love to be busy all of the time, i was very concerned that this would not be possible, but am pleasantly surprised to know that it’s going to be fine. Yesterday i was sitting at my desk, working on a website, and felt this strange surge of pressure. When i stood up, i felt wet. This is nothing new, since I’ve been peeing my pants with every sneeze since the beginning of the third trimester. However, because of the low amount of fluid last week, i was concerned, so i called the nurse to see what she thought. She told me that if i continued to leak, to come on in and get it checked out. So, after work, we had some dinner, and things continued to be damp, so Beef and i headed into the hospital to have everything checked out. After several hours, it was determined that i have not broken my bag of waters, and was not leaking. i am having contractions, however, they don’t know how strong they are because i was on external monitoring. Then they determined that sometimes baby’s heart rate was a little erratic, so that was something they wanted to look at. They continued to monitor us, but after performing many other tests and manual exams, they determined that i would be able to go home for the night. Beef was wonderful as usual. Supportive and encouraging, and definitely sympathetic to my plight as a pregnant woman going through all these different tests and procedures. i am VERY blessed to have him in my life!
So, we’re on for the ultrasound, prenatal and the amnio measurement today, and we’ll go from there. If the fluid is good, it’s looking like Thursday is the day!
I hope you all have a blessed Tuesday!
