Things were fine over the weekend. We went to Matt’s retirement party on Saturday, and enjoyed spending time with his family from out of town, as well as sharing in the joy that he and Jodie have at finishing 20 years in the military. It isn’t easy, and it isn’t fun. Matt and Jodie have a lot to be thankful for and proud of. We are thankful for them and honored that they call us friends.
Sunday was pretty much a day of complete rest. i didn’t feel well, and think i’ve started a sinus infection. i was pretty much congested the whole day, and since i really can’t take anything, i felt the best thing to do was just lay around and be lazy. Besides, in a few days, that will all be over for me!
Other than that, life is good. Baby is fine. Daddy and mommy are fine. The dogs are still spoiled.
