Our Good Friend Bill

Let me tell you a little bit about our good friend Bill. Really, Bill is Bill Jordan, of Realtree, and he’s only our good friend in the same sense that Kaptain Kangaroo was 30 years ago. If you haven’t heard of Bill or Realtree, it’s alright, you can find out more by clicking here. Bill was recently on one of the shows Beef and i watch, “Realtree Outdoors”, and was hunting in Iowa. No joke. i’m not sure where in Iowa, but that’s where he was hunting. i had been laying on the sofa, watching my belly, waiting for any movment, but all was quiet on the uterine front. After the commercial, Bill started telling us about his wait for a big buck in the Iowa field, and started a grunt call. I am not kidding… every time Bill did the call, A1 moved. She was completely still until he started calling. i turned to Beef and told him what had just happened, he smiled a HUGE smile and started laughing. i told him he was ruining my chances of raising a prissy little girl… for sure she would be a hunter now. He has always said that it doesn’t matter what we were having, that his child would learn to hunt and fish. Since i did both, i wasn’t really opposed to it, but after this little darling nearly jumped out of my belly to the sound of Bill and his grunt call, i’m wondering if she will do any of the OTHER things i did… like take dance and play violin and maybe even be a cheerleader… hmmmnnnnn….
well, regardless of what she chooses to do with her free time, Bill is a great guy, so if she’s going to dance to deer calls, i guess it’s cool that she’s dancing to his! i just wonder what she’ll do when i catch the next episode of Spirit of the Wild!
